Proximity + EMF Detector
REM-POD (Rev3)
Invented by Gary GalkaThe instrument that defined proximity detection in the field. A radiating antenna casts an EM field around the pod; when something conductive breaks that field, the REM-POD lights and sounds off. Rev3 adds ambient hot and cold spot detection.

Radiating EM antenna
A programmable antenna radiates an electromagnetic field around the unit; anything conductive entering the field disturbs it and triggers the alarm.
Hot and cold spot alert
Ambient temperature deviation detection flags sudden warm or cold shifts near the sensor, independent of the proximity field.
Multi-color LED and tones
A graduated LED array and audible tones show the strength of the disturbance in real time, readable across a dark room.
